Documentary filmmaker Doug Block's community forum The D-Word is the most heavily visited and productive documentary forum and virtual conference center on the web.

AJ Schnack, director of Kurt Cobain: About a Son, blogs about documentaries, TV, and other often amusing related topics, sometimes drawing on opinions and quotes from business insiders and friends. A charming account of one filmmaker's experiences touring the festival circuit.

The indieWIRE Documentary pages concentrate more on publishing up-to-the-minute Film Festival line-ups and industry buzz and interviews.

Joel Heller's blog Docs that Inspire includes podcasts, film festival coverage and commentary and has been praised by indieWIRE and Channel 4, amongst others.
